Hi there, My name is Amie and I'm the single mother of a beautiful six year old girl who I have in my care 50 percent of the time. I'm looking for an affordable studio or 1 bdrm apartment in Santa Cruz for the two of us. Unfortunately, I'm very low income and can only afford about $600-$800 per month. I'd prefer not to share housing but instead would like to find a place of our own. A granny unit would be fine. I'm also open to a possible work trade situation. I have my assistant teaching certificate in early childhood education and would be happy to care for someone's children in a work-trade for rent situation.
